For many of you, this may be old news but it is news I must continue to share! One of the cutest little gals of the cupcake community Jessie Oleson has opened her Cakespy Shop. Jessie's new shop is in fun and hip neighborhood of Capitol Hill; located at 415 E Pine Street, Seattle WA 98122 - Tue-Sun 12-7 PM.

Bella Cupcake Couture is a proud sponsor of the Seattle "Save the Girls" 2nd annual designer bra fashion show. We were also honored to be asked to design a bra by the ladies of the Little Black Dress Events team.

It started with this beauty above sent to us in the mail......And turned into this!

We have named our Bella Cupcake Couture design: “A Sweet Pair”

Designer Bra Description: Watch your bossom blossom with this stylish bra adorned with Bella Cupcake Couture’s Meisha cupcake wrappers. The pattern features a delightful pattern inspired by natures own sweet little Millinery birds perfectly paired and perched upon cherry blossom branches.

We can't wait to see our model strut her stuff down the runway this Sunday. We picture her wearing a sweet little pink tutu with sassy shoes. Whatever she wears it with, we are just so proud to be a part of this special cause.

Port-A-Bella Bella

The weekend before last, I visited my mother in Port Orchard, WA. While I was there we went down to visit the Port Orchard Farmers Market to sample Bella Bella Cupcakes. This team of bakers was recently a sponsor in CupcakeCamp Seattle and came in 1st place for Best Seattle theme with their Pacific NW Sustainable Granola Cupcake (seen below).

http://cupcakecampseattle.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Bella-Bella-PNWSustainable-Granola.jpg
While there we selected six flavors....red velvet, mocha, coconut, lemon raspberry x2 and Nutella (or was it hazelnut?). The lemon raspberry was my favorite! Loved the sweet and tangy combo.

One of the owners Donna was there with one of the other owners Amie's brother. He was in town visiting from Alaska and helping out his sister to spread the love of cupcakes at the market.

They had a pretty sweet display of cupcakes. Including this one below.... ;) feauturing our Bella Cupcake Couture in Lu Lu Red/White.

While there I also ran into another CupcakeCamp Seattle participant Little Miss Cupcake; Crissie. She was there helping with the family business; Taste of Eden. They had a huge selection of tasty pastries and breads. I picked up a delicious lemon blueberry loaf.

All in all it was a sweet day in Port Orchard with Bella Bella Cupcakes and Little Miss Cupcakes!
