Koru Symbol of Love: by Kiwi Cakes

Sandra from Kiwi Cakes taught me something new about New Zealand wedding traditions. She said many couples choose a Koru as a symbol or theme for their wedding.

The Koru is the Māori name given to the new unfurling fern frond and symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace. When Sandra of Kiwi Cakes saw our Olivia cupcake wrappers she said it looked so similar to the Koru she was inspired to create a cupcake with them.
