A couple months ago, I received these darling boxes of gourmet cupcake mixes from Gourmet Gift Co. The flavors are chocolate, vanilla, red velvet and champagne. Yes, you heard it champagne. This would have definitely been the first one I would have made. Unfortunately didn't have champagne in the house at the time. So I opted for my next favorite, red velvet.
Here are all the ingredients I needed to put together these tasty treats. An egg, buttermilk and vegetable oil. Everything else needed was inside the Gourmet Gift Co mix.
Their gourmet baking mixes are handmade in small batches using the finest ingredients available, with no artificial flavors or preservatives.
The second I put the buttermilk in, I saw the batter turn red. Sooo pretty. After a short bake, I had these perfect little pillowy mounds of red velvet cupcakes. This is NOT your typical box mix. They had this nice crunchy top and the flavor was so delicious! Like homemade!
Now add a bit of frosting and sprinkles AND of course some Bella Cupcake Couture and voila... ready to be served at a special wedding industry meeting in downtown Seattle.
